A little bit about me!

Hello! I’m Ellie Hickey, the photographer behind the lens at Bark & Bones Photography. Working with animals has always been a dream of mine and I’ve always had a passion for capturing moments and memories with photos, which in 2023 led me to combining the two and creating Bark & Bones Photography!

Anyone who knows me knows I am such a huge dog lover so deciding to work with dogs was probably the easiest and best decision I’ve ever made. I’ve had dogs since I was 13 (I’m now 29!) and I know how important it is to have photos of them that you can cherish forever; having lost my beautiful Charlie and Alfie in 2023 only a few months apart, I feel this so deeply.

In September 2025 I won my first national award for my photography, so you can have full confidence that working with me will ensure you will receive nothing short of expertly high quality, professional images of your beloved companion.
